Interview
- Of all the companies out there, why did you join Hiyoshi Kaisoten?
-
I was approached by a senior staff member who works at the company. I decided to join the company for two reasons: first, the company would pay for me to get qualifications, and second, I was attracted by the regular daytime work schedule and weekends off.
- After 5 years with the company, what is rewarding about your job and what are your motivations for doing your job?
-
Our workplace promotes workers having multiple skills, enabling workers to improve their skills by gaining a variety of experiences for each qualification they hold. My job is rewarding because of the wide variety of work that can be done. I acquired various qualifications after joining the company, but I was most happy to have obtained a towing license. My father also has a towing license, and being able to obtain the same license as my father, whom I admire, has helped me grow as a person. Additionally, now that I have a forklift license, which I had no experience with before, I am able to support other employees, and I am happy to be able to put my acquired qualifications to use.
- What attracts you to the company?
-
There is an atmosphere at the company where employees are united and supportive of each other. When I make mistakes, more senior workers than me come to help me and I am very encouraged by their kindness.
- What are your future aspirations and goals?
-
I want my workplace to be filled with smiling faces. I would like to continue to communicate closely between the site and the office and be a bridge between the two.
As my future goals, I would like to obtain licenses for a class 1 health officer, an operations manager, and a crane of 5 tons or more.
