Interview

Of all the companies out there, why did you join Hiyoshi Kaisoten?

I joined the company from an introduction by an acquaintance. The deciding factors for joining the company were the regular daytime work schedule and the financial support the company offers for obtaining certificates.

After 20 years with the company, what is rewarding about your job and what are your motivations for doing your job?

At the Kimitsu Branch and Warehouse where I work, we have a warehouse on the premises of Nippon Steel Corporation's East Japan Works, Kimitsu Area. Our work plays a role in the supply chain that supports Nippon Steel Corporation's production, and I find it rewarding to know that our work is important because it connects us to the end users.

What attracts you to the company?

As one of the benefits, we have a qualification acquisition support system, so you can proactively acquire the qualifications you want to acquire and make use of them in your work.
All of my co-workers are nice people, and I find it easy to take paid leave and a workplace with a positive atmosphere is very attractive.

What are your future aspirations and goals?

We have respected senior employees who have earned our trust both inside and outside the company. My goal is to become like the more senior workers and cultivate the next generation and watch them grow.
